Up next! The Unaka Challenge. More mountains, gravel and, beautiful scenery. Visit these links for all the details and enjoy the ride!
Don’t miss the “Pounder”! This is a beautiful ride in the Pond Mountain, Frog level area of Carter Co. The ride leaves Hampton Trails Bike Shop in Hampton, TN and climbs Dennis Cove Road, a steep paved climbing leading to the gravel. Most of this ride will be on gravel mountain roads.

It was extremely hot even at 8:00 AM for the Reedy Creek Adventure Gravel Grind. Turnout was great for a first time event, 30 for the 66 miles and 6 for the 30 miles. Tough ride but it was rewarding. Especially afterwards with the chicken fried rice from Edo’s and the Devils Backbone beer provided by our sponsor. Next up, Poga Pounder on July 23rd. Check out “the Rides” page for more info.
